Proclaim the GOOD NEWS
Meditation from the Word Among Us
In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells his disciples, “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Try to imagine how excited he must have felt. Finally, the gospel could spread, and millions more could be brought to the Lord!
Brothers and sisters, God is ready to fill you with his Spirit and give you the zeal to share his good news. He wants to give you the boldness to tell people about your hope in Jesus. He wants to help you share the gift of his salvation with your family, your co-workers, your neighbors, and even complete strangers. Just remember that Jesus, alive in your heart, is overflowing with love for each person you meet. He has promised to be with you until the end of time—and he always keeps his promises!

Let the Good News be heard
By Mary Lorelie Vicedo Aquino
It is God’s desire to fill our hearts with his love
To move us to share that love with the people around us.
He would pour his Spirit upon us so we can let other’s know
God’s grace will overflow until everyone he had chosen was filled.
The Holy Spirit is at work in us
The grace inspires us to speak of joy and truth
It encourages us to share the message that has transformed our lives.
Urges us to proclaim the goodness of God and His mercy last forever!
The Holy Spirit has come to live in our hearts.
This gift is meant not just for us but for everyone.
Let His miracles be heard and for others to see His love
Let the good news be heard for all to enjoy His love and mercy
Gather up my brothers and sister and let us unite as one
Proclaiming the Glory of God, all that we see and hear from Him
Let us Rejoice and Be Glad for our Father is Near
He is with us, living and loving us every minute of this life. Amen.
But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! 20 As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” ACT 4:19-20

PRAYER OF THE SOUL
“Jesus, thank you for speaking through the people who have told us about you. Today, we open our hearts to you so that you can speak through us. Make us your messenger, Lord. Lord Jesus Christ, increase our faith and hope in the power of your resurrection. And give us joy and courage to be your witness to others and to boldly speak of what you have done to save us from sin and death.
Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls, who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O
Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.
Proclaim the Holy Spirit is with us, embrace it’s grace and blessings
